This is one of our very typical carpet repairs we do while on a job for carpet cleaning – carpet stretching El Cajon. It is carpet stretching due to wrong installs.
99% of the time it’s relatively newer carpet that wasn’t technically installed. It was just laid to fit and then just knee kicked in which is absolutely wrong. By the correct standard it must be power stretched during the install.
There are still a few professional carpet cleaners out there that will pre-inspect your carpet before cleaning and notify you of loose carpet so they can take action before it gets this bad.
For us, this is the 1st thing we check – the carpet install. Many times it’s loose, a wall or 2 are not on the tack strips or the transition to hard floors. We can help.
If you think you have loose carpet give us a call, you don’t need it getting worse and worse until those wrinkles get so worn that when stretched out they are dark.
Loose carpet just breaks down at the backing level and the backing pulverizes and then delaminates from the carpet. This is why a carpet that is not power stretched during an install is considered Damaged Goods.
Give us a shout to repair your carpet and to clean it.
