  It seems to be a normal thing for us to stretch your carpet while we are in for carpet cleaning. This why we are Carpet stretching and carpet cleaning San Diego. Loose carpet is not normal but it is because those that you bought the carpet from subcontracted installers that did not technically install the carpet. Always, always make sure your carpet is powerstretched during installation. You can also have an independent inspector over during or after installation. We do come out and do this for you for $50 depending on your area. You get a 1 year install warranty after that it’s on your dime to get it stretched.
